Terms of Service.

The Career Edits is a private career advisory practice founded by Dana Safia. It provides recruiter-led advice on positioning, career assets and career strategy.

Every engagement begins with a free 30-minute consultation, and consultations are offered by application. Submitting an application does not create an engagement and does not guarantee that a consultation will be offered.

A limited number of clients are accepted each month so every engagement receives proper attention.

The scope, format, duration and price of an engagement are confirmed in writing before it begins. Services are advisory: The Career Edits provides guidance, positioning work and strategy, and you remain responsible for your own decisions and actions.

Career outcomes depend on individual circumstances, market conditions and your own decisions and effort. No interview, offer, promotion, salary increase or specific result is guaranteed.

You agree that the information and documents you provide are accurate and are yours to share, and that you will not include confidential information belonging to an employer or third party.

Fees are confirmed in writing before payment is requested. Work begins once the agreed terms are accepted.

Rescheduling and cancellation are covered by the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Website content, frameworks, templates and downloadable materials remain the property of The Career Edits and are provided for your personal use. Materials created specifically for you as part of an engagement — such as your CV, LinkedIn copy or bio — are yours to use.

The use of AI within the work is described in the AI and Client Data Policy.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published here is the current one, and the terms confirmed in writing for your engagement take precedence.
